PTA Inpatient Rehab

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Pinehurst, North Carolina
Primary position is inpatient rehab
May float to less or like specialty units, including acute care
Monday-Friday schedule
Day shift: 5x8, 8:00–16:30
ASAP start
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in North Carolina
Physical Therapy Assistant (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year

Required Documents / Compliance

Government-issued photo ID
Background check within 1 year of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
EPLS/GSA/SAM
HHS/OIG
State License 1 Verification
NURSYS verification, as applicable by profession
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
TB questionnaire if history of past positive TB test
Rubeola (Measles)
Mumps
Rubella
Hepatitis B
Varicella
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
Two clinical references, with one from a supervisor or higher
Complete application/resume
Skills checklist

Color blind testing online
Competency exam, as applicable to profession/specialty
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Notes

Modules are required after contract signing and must be completed by the stated deadline
Physical exam is not required by the facility, but is required for compliance processing
