Pathologists Assistant

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Woodstock, Illinois
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 12-week contract
• On-call: No
• Weekend requirement: No
• Meal break: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Pathologists' Assistant
• Pathologists' Assistant (1 year of experience)
• Pathologists' Assistant experience within the last year
• ASCP

Compliance / Documentation

• Current and valid Driver’s License or Government Photo ID with address preferred, but highly recommended to have on file
• Proof of name change is required if the legal name does not match compliance documents

Additional Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start
• Education verification of the highest level of education
• EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and OFAC sanctions checks within 30 days of start, with monthly updates
• Transcript or diploma required if pending education verification does not meet the compliance deadline
• Employment application must include 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps greater than 30 days
• Application missing information tracking must include 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps greater than 30 days

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask testing within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap within 10 years of last administered date
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Drug testing within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific medical/religious exemption during flu season
• COVID vaccination series or declination
• Hepatitis B vaccine series or positive IgG titer; declinations accepted
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity by titer or vaccination
• Respiratory clearance required if fit test is failed
