Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel/Contract

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Weekend shifts every other weekend
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6
• Charting system: Meditech preferred but not required
• Potential for remote Telemetry monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background check: 7-year search within 30 days of start, updated annually
• National and state-level exclusions and sanction screenings (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG) annually
• Education verification: Transcript or Diploma required; NSCH verification acceptable if original documents unavailable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Immunization or titer proof for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
• Two professional references within 3 years
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• Clear, passport-style photo for badge

Notes

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Must complete facility-specific forms related to security, confidentiality, behavioral expectations, HIPAA, and agency attestation prior to start
• RN job description documentation required based on degree (BSN or ASN/Diploma)
