Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Women Services)

Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform a variety of specialized ultrasonic procedures including:

  • General Ultrasound
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Abdomen
  • Kidney & Adrenal
  • Thyroid
  • GYN/Pelvic
  • Soft Tissue
  • OB
• Utilize equipment such as EPIC, PACS, and Cannon Aplio i-series ultrasound system.
• Outpatient ultrasound studies; no floating to other units.
• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, no call required, may work alone.
• Dress code: Scrubs (no set color, must be clean with no logos).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred.
• Previous Women's and Breast ultrasound experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited imaging program.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARDMS or ARRT registry in Breast Sonography (BR or BS).
• Permanent Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in Sonography required.

  • OBMI temporary license acceptable for new hires; permanent license and registry must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Notes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
• Experience with Epic system preferred.
