Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in medical technology
Medical Technologist experience within the last year
3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

Responsibilities

Perform and evaluate quality control
Perform testing in Chemistry and Diagnostic Immunology
Participate in proficiency testing
Troubleshoot and resolve basic instrument problems
Receive and process laboratory specimens
Use the Meditech computer system for data entry
Perform STAT and routine testing accurately and timely
Assist with development of new methods and evaluating cost feasibility
Train new employees in department procedures and policies
Participate in department meetings
Analyze workflow processes and conduct QI audits
Provide on-call coverage
