Registered Nurse - Case Management (Travel)

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Collaborate with interdisciplinary and healthcare team members to facilitate patient care.
Lead safe discharge planning to achieve clinical and financial outcomes.
Coordinate care and services throughout the acute care episode and across the continuum.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
Work schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays as required and every other weekend.
Patient-facing role.
On-site position (not remote).

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of case management experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in utilization management.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Additional Information

Clinical role.
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech.
Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
Parking available.
