Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 4 days per week, no call or weekend requirements
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- 6-bed Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
- Approximately 25 staff members: 18 day shift lab staff, 1 charge nurse, 3 patient care technicians
- Equipment includes Biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic mapping systems with dedicated equipment
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
- Permanent positions available on the unit
Typical Procedures
- Ablations
- Device implants
- Device extractions
- Structural heart procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Operating Room (OR)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification

- Blue scrubs provided by the facility
