Registered Nurse - MS/Tele/PCU - Night Shift

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in assigned areas. Responsibilities include:

Assessing patients upon admission using interview techniques to gather past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
Participating in the planning and implementation of written care plans under physician direction.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
Strong experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) units required

Skills

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Additional Information

Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid)
Employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
