Ultrasound Technologist

Overview

• Contract length: 9 weeks
• Location: New York, New York
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Hours per week: 37.5

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• ARDMS
• ARRT
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
• Experience working with High Risk patients
• OB Technician experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with ultrasound examinations
• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations
• Operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure supplies are available
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel
• Capture images onto PACS and transfer them to physicians’ workstations
• Answer telephones, schedule examinations, and initiate transportation when needed

• Knowledge of office and administrative practices
• Skill in using personal computers and software
