Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • Post Partum experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Post Partum experience
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
  • Document comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient responses
  • Coordinate and revise the plan of care based on patient needs and outcomes
  • Administer medications, perform procedures such as wound care and IV therapy, and use medical equipment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff
  • Support unit quality improvement, patient safety, and professional governance activities
  • Mentor staff and nursing students, and help orient new staff
