Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location: Duluth, Minnesota

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Work in the Operating Room with a focus on general surgery and circulating duties.
• Schedule includes four shifts per week, mixing 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
• Typical 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
• Typical 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM.
• Flexibility to work both 8- and 12-hour shifts is highly preferred.
• Two out of every four weekends required.
• No on-call or call-back duties.
• Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• General surgery experience.
• Circulating experience.

Additional Information

• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Scrub colors are provided by the facility.
• Up to 36 hours of low census time during the assignment is non-billable.
• GSA (Guaranteed Salary Allowance) does not apply during orientation week.
