Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Dickson, Tennessee

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit Name: Heart Center
• Staffing: 2 RNs, 1 scrub tech, 1 MD per case
• Equipment: GE Innova 2100, Mac Lab
• Documentation Systems: Meditech, Merge, Mac Lab
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday to Friday (days to be determined)
• Additional Schedule: Rotating STEMI call (1 weeknight per week, 1 weekend per month)
• Dress Code: Solid color scrubs

Procedures Performed

• Cardiac Catheterization (Cath)
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
• Loop Recorder insertion
• Peripheral Angiogram
• Pacemaker and Defibrillator management
• Nuclear Stress Testing
• Treadmill Stress Testing
• Holter Monitor application

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

• Experienced Cath Lab RN / Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Unit offers exposure to advanced cardiac procedures and technology
• Rotating STEMI call provides varied clinical experience
