Unit: Central Transport
Patient Ratios: Not applicable
Equipment used: Stryker Stretchers, Hill-Rom Beds, Wheelchairs
EMR systems: Capacity Management and iMobile device

Typical Responsibilities

Transfer of inpatients between units and for procedures
Safely lifting and transferring patients

Required Skills and Certifications

Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
Strong communication skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
IV Therapy Certificate
Valid LPN/LVN License

Work Schedule and Environment

Day and night shifts (example day shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
Rotating every other weekend
No on-call required
Dress code: Khaki pants and red golf shirts provided
