Facility & Unit Overview

• Level III trauma center with 48 beds (flex space)
• Emergency Department with patient ratios: 4:1 (Main ED), 6:1 (Fast Track)
• Team nursing and Pod System in place
• Patient population includes ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric, Substance Abuse Disorders, CHF, Abdominal Pain, Chest Pain
• Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
• Shift: Mids (combination of 10am-10pm and 12pm-12am)
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Minimum two weekends scheduled per contract
• No call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing (higher value confirmed)
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
• Must have skills/experience in Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years Emergency Department experience preferred
