CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Plantation, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• 2 CT scanners with 2 tables
• Staffing: 2 CT Techs per 12-hour shift, covering day and night shifts (24/7 coverage)
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: GE Discovery 450, 1.5 Tesla
• EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for assessment

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• ACLS Certification
• RT (T)
• ASRT
• FASRT

Work Environment & Expectations

• Must be a critical thinker, flexible, and able to work independently
• No on-call responsibilities, but willingness to work nights and weekends is required
• Dress code: Royal blue or white scrubs only
