Description
CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position
Location: Plantation, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- 2 CT scanners with 2 tables
- Staffing: 2 CT Techs per 12-hour shift, covering day and night shifts (24/7 coverage)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE Discovery 450, 1.5 Tesla
- EMR system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- CT Scans
- MRI
- Body scanning
- X-Rays
- Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for assessment
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- ACLS Certification
- RT (T)
- ASRT
- FASRT
Work Environment & Expectations
- Must be a critical thinker, flexible, and able to work independently
- No on-call responsibilities, but willingness to work nights and weekends is required
- Dress code: Royal blue or white scrubs only
