Position Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: Evenings, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required by facility
• Call Requirements: Call is required. 2 primary and 2 backup over a 2-month call period. Rotating self-sign up opportunities. Call hours Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 AM.
• Number of Openings: 2

Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1+ years in an OR setting
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred 1+ years travel experience (not required)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA only
• Float Requirements: As required by facility

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 23 ORs operating out of 18 rooms
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Patient Types: Neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, oral maxillofacial (OMF), general surgery
• EMR System: EPIC
• Equipment: Various, depending on specialty
