Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with at least 2 years PCU experience preferred
• Licenses: Active Compact RN License at submission
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification required
• Skills:

  • Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
  • Critical drip experience
• Preferred:

  • Pre- and post-cardiac cath & pacer patient care experience
  • Prior experience with HCA Healthcare system

Unit Information

• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Beds: 20
• Staffing:

  • 5 RNs & 2 LNAs, flex with volume
  • Day Shift: 5 RNs
  • Night Shift: 5 RNs
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps
• EMR System: Expanse
