Facility & Unit Overview
- Level III Trauma Center
- 48 beds with flex space in the Emergency Department
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 in Main ED, 6:1 in Fast Track
- EHR System: Cerner
- Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV
- Team nursing and Pod System model
- Social Worker and Unit Educator assigned to the department
Position Details
- Role: RN in Emergency Department
- Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Minimum of two weekends per schedule
- Call Requirements: None
- Number of Openings: 1
Required Qualifications
- Education: RN with ADN
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (all must be from AHA)
- Years of Experience in Emergency Medicine: 2 years (preferred)
- Must have skills/experience in Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation

- ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease)
- Cirrhosis
- COPD
- Psychiatric Disorders
- Substance Abuse Disorders
- CHF (Congestive Heart Failure)
- Abdominal Pain
- Chest Pain
