Work Environment

• Facility includes multiple specialized centers such as Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, Surgical Weight Loss, Women’s Center, and Level 3 NICU
• Behavioral Health Hospital with 81 beds on South Campus
• Five units with patient-to-staff ratios varying by unit (e.g., 23 patients with 2 RNs and 4 CNAs)
• Patient population: Adult behavioral health patients
• Common diagnoses include Schizophrenia, Dementia, Manic Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Dual Diagnosis, Medical Detox, Depression, and Anxiety Disorders
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Shift & Work Details

• No call requirements
• Dress code: Any color scrub; certification with Handle with Care preferred but training available

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Experience with behavioral health patient care and common psychiatric diagnoses is essential
• Ability to work in a team with CNAs and other RNs in a behavioral health setting
