Job Opportunity: RN - Rehab (Travel)

Job Details

• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Unit: Acute Rehabilitation
• Number of Beds: 13
• Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 6 patients
• EHR System: Meditech
• Equipment: Lift equipment available

Experience & Certifications

• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in acute care or inpatient rehab (at least 1 year acute experience required)
• Preferred Experience: Travel experience preferred but not required; MedSurg and LTAC experience accepted
• Required Certifications: BLS
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License (Iowa)
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must have Iowa SING background check clearance (criminal and child abuse portions)
  • All background checks must be fully cleared prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted)
  • Mandatory reporter certification (child and adult)
  • 10-panel drug test including opiates
  • Titers within last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB)

Job Responsibilities & Environment

• Float to MedSurg as needed
• Common diagnoses and treatments include neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, wound vac
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care
• Dress code and attire requirements to be followed (details provided upon submission)
