Overview

Travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Full-time schedule: 5 days, 8 hours
Start: ASAP
Weekend work required
On-call required
Floating required
Blocked scheduling is not accommodated

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

2 or more years of experience
Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas, including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics

Role Details

Assists in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
Prepares patient skin for surgery
Maintains aseptic technique and sterile field
Transports patients to and from the Operating Room suite
Positions patients for surgery
Identifies and cares for biological specimens
Sets up OR tables, instruments, and supplies
Uses physician preference cards for case setup
Works with decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies
Epic is used for EMR
