RN Med Surg Telemetry

Role Summary

Travel RN assignment in the Float Pool (Surge)
3 openings
36 guaranteed hours per week
Day shift: 6:45a–7:15p, 3x12s
Every other weekend and holiday required
No block scheduling

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac experience
Cardiology experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

2-year MS Tele experience

Unit Information

Float Pool
Acute Care patient population
495-bed facility
Patient ratio: 1:7
At least 30 beds per unit

Additional Details

Duration of assignment: 13 weeks
EPIC is required
Navy Blue scrubs
Holiday RTO may be requested; no more than two days for holiday RTO will be considered
Candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered instead of the 65-mile radius rule
