RN Emergency Dept

Overview

  • Travel RN role in McAllen, Texas.
  • Assignment is based in the San Juan Free Standing Emergency Department.
  • 12-bed unit with 1:4 patient ratios.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • CPI
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC
  • NRP

Unit Details

  • EMR: Meditech
  • Typical procedures include stroke center care and moderate sedation.
  • Floating area: FSED.
  • Weekends rotate.
  • Scrub color/attire: Royal Blue.
