Progressive Care RN

Role Overview

Travel RN assignment in a 17-bed progressive care unit within a medical surgical department. The unit has a 1:6 maximum patient ratio and 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PICC/CVC management
Med Surg experience

Float Scope

May float between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience

Schedule

Weekend rotate; weekend shifts can be accommodated if needed
No call requirements

Patient Population

Adults 18+, mostly 65+

Additional Notes

This is a critical access hospital unit that provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services
The unit does not perform surgeries in the building
Paragon is the EHR
