Job Overview

  • Location: Pasadena, Texas
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM
  • On-call: Saturday–Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Unit Details

  • Solo-run nuclear medicine unit
  • 2 nuclear medicine rooms
  • Possible patient ratio: 2:1
  • Typical procedures include HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and stress tests

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB
  • BLS
  • Ability to work solo

Preferred Qualifications

  • IV skills
  • Patient care experience

  • Kelley green scrubs
  • EMR and related systems used on the unit include Meditech Magic/Expanse, Merge Cardio, Cardinal Health, Xcelaris, and PACS
