Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.
• The hospital has 199 beds and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
• Travel candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certifications required prior to start:

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Must comply with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements before hire.

  • A 14-day supervised waiver period is allowed while background check results are pending.
