Patient population: Adult behavioral health patients
Common diagnoses include Schizophrenia, Dementia, Manic Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Dual Diagnosis, Medical Detox, Depression, and Anxiety Disorders
Patient ratios vary by unit, generally ranging from 1 RN per 10-23 patients with CNA support
Electronic Health Record system used: Cerner

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of psychology experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or Handle With Care (HWC) certification

Dress code: Any color scrub
No float requirements specified
No weekend hours specified
Orientation start dates are scheduled throughout the year (specific dates provided during onboarding)
