CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Assignment)

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4 shifts per week, 4pm to 2am (4x10-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit and Facility Information

Unit: CT Scan
Number of Beds in Facility: 400
Department staffed 24/7 with unit secretaries and tech availability
Equipment used: GE Optima 64 slice, GE Revolution EVO 64 slice, Apex 128, Revo 64 slice CT scanners
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: May be required to fill in for open shifts
Dress code: Black scrubs required

Required Qualifications

ARRT CT Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Pediatric CT exams

Additional Information

Schedule is consistent nights with 4 shifts per week, providing a predictable work pattern

Pros

Management is willing to work with RTO pretty easily. GE machines are easy to use and proximity of ER with CT is set up nicely.

Cons

Communication with management is sometimes awful. Especially with contract extensions. HR also did not pay me for a day due to a missed punch. Instead of contacting me about issues, they just didnt pay me and it took two months to resolve that missing pay.
