CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position
Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform CT scan technical procedures under supervision of medical leadership in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment.
- Create diagnostic images using CT modality and ensure patient safety and positive experience.
- Support teaching and ongoing learning as technology evolves.
- Conduct CT exams on trauma/emergency patients, outpatients, inpatients (including ICU), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT-guided procedures.
- Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.
Work Schedule
- Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New York
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school graduate or equivalent
