CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform CT scan technical procedures under supervision of medical leadership in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment.
• Create diagnostic images using CT modality and ensure patient safety and positive experience.
• Support teaching and ongoing learning as technology evolves.
• Conduct CT exams on trauma/emergency patients, outpatients, inpatients (including ICU), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT-guided procedures.
• Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Work Schedule

• Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography
• CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
