Location

• Travel assignment
• 13 weeks
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 4x10 schedule
• No call

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• 2 years of experience in OR (Operating Room)
• 2 years of experience in Trauma

Schedule Notes

• May be required to float within competency level
• May be required to work major holidays
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays
• Some call shifts may be included
• Low-census call-off may occur with 48 hours' notice per 13-week contract

Role Overview

• Provides technical patient care in the operating room
• Maintains sterility of the surgical field
• Assists surgeons by anticipating needs and passing instruments
• May assist with scrub duties and other intraoperative tasks under direct supervision
• Responsible for caring for instrumentation and equipment after procedures and preparing for the next case
