Assignment Details

Travel role in Fredericksburg, Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
AWHONN
BLS
NRP

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Intermediate fetal monitoring

Unit Information

Labor and delivery/postpartum unit
10 labor/delivery rooms, 3 triage spaces, and 2 OR suites
Patient ratio: 2 laboring patients per RN
Typical procedures include inductions and C/S/SVD

Work Environment

Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 2 LDR nurses, and 1 nursery nurse
Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 2 LDR nurses, and 1 nursery nurse
Uses GE monitoring, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV pumps, and CADD epidural PCA

Additional Notes

Scrubs required on unit
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are valued
