Job Description
Seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a travel contract. The role involves working 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekdays and weekends. Common cases include trauma, orthopedic, vascular, neurological, ENT, thoracic, and general surgeries.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Call shifts on weekdays and weekends (8 hours)
- Rotating weekend shifts with varied hours (e.g., 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Typically 3-4 shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Minimal call on Fridays through Sundays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Specialty Focus
- Operating Room nursing with experience in trauma, orthopedic, vascular, neurological, ENT, thoracic, and general surgical cases
