Job info

Registered Nurse – Hospice

Location

Peoria, Illinois
Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Approximately 40 hours per week
Weekend call rotation: 1 weekend every 4-5 weekends (includes Saturday and Sunday)
Call requirement: 1-2 nights per week
No holiday work required

Patient Care

Hospice/end-of-life care and home health patients
4 to 5 patient visits per day
Home Health/Hospice Aides staffed at a ratio of 1 aide per 2 RNs
No ventilator equipment required (no vents, CPAP, BiPAP)

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license or proof that application process has been initiated
BLS certification
Valid driver’s license and insurance
Must be able to work independently and remotely
Computer and EMR proficiency required
Drug-free workplace: negative drug screen required for all panels

Additional Information

Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours
Call-off policy allows up to 12 hours off every 13 weeks without penalty
No manager or charge nurse available 24/7 onsite
