Registered Nurse Circulator – Operating Room

Location: Spencer, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 9-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, with rotating night and weekend call
Hours per Week: 36 hours (includes one night of call per week and call every 5th or 6th weekend)

Job Description

Provide circulating nursing care in the operating room across multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, and endoscopy.
Must be team-oriented and able to work effectively in a busy surgical environment.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum 2 years of operating room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
At least 2 years of surgical nursing experience
Orthopedic experience is mandatory
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
