CT Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform routine CT scans independently following radiologist protocols.
Ability to scan per protocols and function without supervision.
Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
Skills in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging are a plus.
Shifts vary by need; 10-hour varied shifts; no on-call required.
Must attend employee health appointment the Thursday before start date (arrival required the day before).

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Hawaii
Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working in an acute care setting
Venipuncture experience
Experience performing biopsies and drainages
Radiology Technologist experience

Additional Information

Must have Hawaii license by start of assignment.
No prior travel experience explicitly required.

It’s always 4 to 1 except hallways you might only have 3. The staff is so kind and welcoming I have nothing bad to say about them. This was my favorite assignment so far
