Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital imaging department specializing in CT scanning
- Performs routine CT scans as well as advanced imaging including MIP, MPR, and 3D reconstruction
- Patient cases may include trauma and stroke
- Preferred experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation
- 10-hour varied shifts with no on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable
- Ability to scan per radiologist protocols and function independently without supervision
- Venipuncture skills preferred
- Experience with vascular or cardiac imaging, biopsies, drainages, trauma, or stroke a plus
Additional Information
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday Employee Health clearance appointment
- Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption is required prior to the contract start date; flu vaccination may be administered at the Employee Health clearance appointment
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Candidates not currently holding an active State of Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of the offer
