Labor and Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn Nursery RN

Overview

Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.
13 weeks.
Variable day and night shifts possible.
12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, after the first week of orientation.
Scheduled 12 hours call at least once per month.
No guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Unit

L&D: 8 labor beds.
Postpartum: 18 beds.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience).
BLS.
NRP.

Preferred

STABLE.
Advance FM.

Clinical Duties

Care for laboring mom.
Assist with delivery.
Immediate care of newborn.
Post-delivery care for mom.

Equipment / Systems

Meditech.
GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system.
