RN - Endoscopy Surgery

Location: Peoria, Illinois Employment Type: Clinical-Nursing Contract Length: 14 weeks Shift: Day, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team, providing nursing care through the nursing process.
Assumes non-complex and some complex patient management, with some turnover in assignment.
Performs patient bedside lab testing and quality control per provider orders and hospital lab procedures.
Performs goal-focused shift reports and documents patient progress and events.
Adheres to assigned weekly, weekend, and holiday call shifts per hospital policy.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Endoscopy (3 years of experience)
Endoscopy experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with bronchoscopies
Experience with EBUS
Experience with ION cases
