Overview
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Med Surg (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
Role Summary
- Staff Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for a group of patients for a designated time frame
- Provides care using the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources
- Performs unit-specific responsibilities and duties
- Completes initial patient assessments, develops plans of care, implements interventions, and modifies care based on ongoing evaluation
- Maintains accurate nursing documentation
- Supports patient and employee safety
- Communicates directly and privately when needed to resolve issues
- Provides constructive feedback to peers and identifies own learning needs
- Fulfills departmental competencies
