Location

Goldsboro, North Carolina

Schedule

Days
Monday and Tuesday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
36 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Setting

Endoscopy and pulmonary suite serving inpatient and outpatient populations in a hospital setting

Required Qualifications

Endoscopy experience within the last year
1 year of endoscopy experience
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing

Key Responsibilities

Provide competent clinical nursing care and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
Perform patient assessment, care planning, education, and evaluation of care
Support interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, safety, and cost-effective care
Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and professional development

Additional Job Details

Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
Knowledge of ProVation is required
Anesthesia coverage is provided for sedation
