Registered Nurse - Surgery

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN for surgical services with the ability to scrub in the operating room. Primary responsibilities include:

• Working mainly in a 7-room inpatient/outpatient mixed operating unit, with occasional float to a larger 26-room main OR and level one trauma.
• Scrubbing for DaVinci XI robotic surgeries (experience with DaVinci XI is required).
• Ability to circulate and/or scrub posterior eye surgeries and eye trauma cases.
• Schedule includes 2 weekend call shifts and 6 day shifts (6 am - 11 am to 9:45 pm) per six-week rotation. No other weekend obligations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Proficiency with DaVinci XI robotic system
• Ability to circulate and/or scrub posterior eye and eye trauma procedures
• Ophthalmology experience
• Colo-Rectal Surgery experience
• OB/GYN experience
• Urology experience

Additional Information

• Must complete required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance.
• Employment and education verifications required.
• Fingerprint background checks required for Ohio residents.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

This role is ideal for an RN with surgical experience, particularly in robotic and eye surgeries, who is comfortable working varied shifts including weekend calls.
