Job Description

• On-call 10 days per month (may be fewer if more staff are hired).
• Weekday call shifts: 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM the next morning.
• Weekend call shifts: 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM (24 hours).

Required Credentials and Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• License/Certificate Verification – Must be current and verified within 30 days of start.
• Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
• Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen – Completed within 30 days of start, includes specific drug testing (NO THC).
• Fit Test
• Trinity Skills Checklist – Provided by agency for clinical contractors.
• Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing – Specialty exam must be completed within a year.
• Trinity Joint Commission Testing (CORE Exam) – Within the past year.

• Trinity Criminal Background Check – Federal, nationwide, county criminal checks from last 7 years, including SSN verification.
• Trinity Education Verification – Highest level of academic education verified.
• Trinity EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) Check
• Trinity GSA/OIG (Office of Inspector General) Exclusion Check
• Trinity NSO (National Sex Offender) Check
• Trinity System Access Form – Must be completed and uploaded one week before start.

Required Personal Health History and Immunizations

• COVID-19 Vaccine – Proof of vaccine, booster, declination, or exemption (declination not accepted for CA or IL).
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab report.
• Hepatitis B – Proof of vaccination series required; titers not accepted.
• Influenza Vaccine – Optional but recommended for the 2024-2025 flu season.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) – Tuberculosis screening.
• Varicella – Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab report.
• Physical/Health Statement – Documentation from an exam within the last year certifying fitness to work.
• Trinity Color Vision Test

Additional Notes

• Iowa's Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check required within 30 days prior to start.
• All required documents and certifications must be uploaded to Trinity VMS system prior to onboarding.
• Compliance with Trinity Health policies and procedures is mandatory.

This position is ideal for experienced RN Cath Lab nurses who meet the credentialing and compliance requirements and are comfortable with on-call responsibilities.
