Job Description

• Must have EPIC experience; proficiency and experience with EPIC must be clearly noted on your profile.
• Required to float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Travel experience is required.
• Candidate must have their own vehicle.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Time off requests after submission will not be approved.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color without designs or cartoons; hoodies are not allowed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York.
• Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Compliance and Profile Requirements

• Permanent address must be included in the profile and must match the address on Driver License or State ID; address will be validated during compliance.
• Resume and skills checklist (updated within the last year) must be uploaded.
• 1-2 supervisory signed references from within the past two years of employment are required.
• Agencies must confirm ability to run the full 14-panel drug screen before submitting candidates.
• Scheduling accommodations cannot be considered; do not submit if accommodations are requested.

• Candidates with permanent addresses in the following New York counties are not eligible for this assignment:
  Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington

Additional Information

• COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not required.
• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
• Overtime, holiday, and call-back pay multipliers: 1.25x.
