Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Location: Newark, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Primary unit: Women’s Health Unit (floats between Labor Room, Newborn Nursery, NICU Stepdown)
  • Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Charting Systems: EPIC, GE Centricity
  • Scrub Color: Navy
  • Block/special scheduling requires prior approval

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
  • Minimum 2 years of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, with experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), AWHONN, or C-EFM certification
  • IV Certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
