Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Location: Newark, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Primary unit: Women’s Health Unit (floats between Labor Room, Newborn Nursery, NICU Stepdown)
Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
Charting Systems: EPIC, GE Centricity
Scrub Color: Navy
Block/special scheduling requires prior approval

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Minimum 2 years of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, with experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), AWHONN, or C-EFM certification
IV Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
