Job Opportunity: LMSW (Licensed Masters of Social Worker)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position is for a Case Manager, either RN or LMSW/LCSW.
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5 x 8 hour days)
  • No on-call, weekend, or float requirements.
  • Ability to be independent with full case management assignment within 1 week (2 weeks max).
  • Attire: Scrubs or business casual.
  • No onsite parking; parking is off-site.
  • Flu vaccination is required for travelers.
  • First-time travelers are accepted with appropriate experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker license in District of Columbia must be in hand at time of application (pending licenses not accepted).
  • Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Strong hospital case management experience as LMSW or LCSW.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience.
  • Case management experience.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Flu vaccination required.

Additional Requirements

  • Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years.
  • Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information.
  • Criminal background check within 90 days of start, including multiple state and federal checks.
  • Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), updated annually.
  • Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease.
  • Immunization and health documentation required:
    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (updated annually)
    • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
    • Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and varicella immunity or vaccination
    • Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
  • N95 fit test within 9 months of start and updated annually (client will complete onsite if needed).
  • Completion of facility-specific modules and attestations prior to start.

Notes

  • Overtime or missed lunch breaks must be pre-approved by case management leadership.
  • Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers with appropriate experience are accepted.
