• Position: Registered Nurse (ER)
• Location: Templeton, California
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week, 36 hours total)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform professional nursing functions including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care.
• Meet established Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Promote cooperation among the healthcare team.
• Responsible for clear, concise documentation and reporting.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac, respiratory distress, and other emergencies.
• Participate in Code Blue and other emergency situations.
• Administer and chart medications accurately following hospital policies.
• Assist in patient education and new staff development.
• Complete assigned quality monitors and infection control guidelines.
• Adapt to changes in unit environment and workflow.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
