Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- No nights, weekends, on-call, or holiday shifts
Job Details

- Territory: Up to a 60-mile radius around Metro Milwaukee area
- Dress code: Scrubs (any color), no jeans

- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- Flexibility with territory expected

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR system
- Experience with OASIS assessment tool
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Comprehensive background checks required within 90 days of start, including:
- SSN trace
- County searches for last 7 years of residence/work/school
- FACIS Level 1
- Nationwide sex offender registry
- Motor vehicle records
- Education and work history verification (7 years, no gaps)
- State-specific background checks as applicable (e.g., Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Missouri, Florida)
- Fingerprinting required for certain states (e.g., Connecticut, Ohio) with annual updates
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 90 days of start
- Agency background attestation required prior to start
- Facility-specific documents such as Acceptable Use Policy and flu/COVID statements must be completed before starting
References and Work History
- Two professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 2 years of start)
- One professional reference required for per diem non-acute care roles
- Full 7 years of verifiable work history required with no gaps
