Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide care for patients admitted and waiting in the Emergency Department (ED) on bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly the hallway.
- May occasionally float to an acute care area if no patients are boarded (rare).
- Schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays.
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:15 AM – 7:15 PM).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Acute Care experience
- Telemetry experience
