Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry Float

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 24 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Day shift, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 48 hours

Job Description

Immediate start with minimal return-to-office requirements
Weekly orientation provided
Unit cares for patients with Infectious Disease, Hospice/Palliative Care, Oncology, Cardiac Acute/Med Care, Post-Surgical, Bariatric, Urology, Neurology, and Orthopedics
Patient ratio experience required: 1:6
Must be willing to float to a sister facility located 25 minutes away (lower acuity)
Weekend coverage required: 12 weekend shifts per contract, every other weekend
No first-time travelers or local hires accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1.5 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
At least one completed travel nursing assignment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
